Yep the colours are beautiful but they can apply muddy and fade quicker than I’m used to. They are good, but not great by my standards.

The Make Up Geek shadows are awesome for singles. For affordable palettes, Tarte does several that I have posted here. Also I love the L’Oreal Le Palette Nude! Super pigmented and smooth texture.

I find that with bargain shadows they can often be a bit muddy/powdery, but sometimes you do find a winner! Are their any drugstore/affordable eyeshadow palettes you’d recommend?

I wouldn’t say they are hard to use, but you do need to use a proper primer and techniques to blend them. They aren’t terrible shadows, they just aren’t the best thing since sliced bread like many claim them to be!
